The hotel is located in the city center of Vienna and was established in 1896 on the Ringstrasse. It is close to the St. Stephans, a few minutes' walk from all the cultural places of interest and downtown shopping areas. The nearest station is Franz Joseph Bahnhof and the nearest metro is the Schottentor.
The rooms are mainly large and well appointed. They are traditional with a cosy atmosphere. All 181 rooms are equipped with minibar, hairdryer and safe. There is a traditional style restaurant on the ground floor.
The hotel is a large impressive building, traditional in design, overlooking Vienna. The lobby is medium in size, with traditional furnishings, many historical paintings and leather seating. This is a very traditional hotel. The restaurant is popular with the locals and there is an outside terrace, where guests can enjoy refreshments in the summer months. |
