The hotel is located on the Ringstrasse in the heart of Vienna, opposite the world famous Opera House. The hotel is very close to St Stephen's Cathedral and the main shopping streets Kartner Strasse and the Graben.
The rooms are generally large but do differ in size considerably. They are in excellent condition with modern facilities. They are beautifully and individually decorated with original artifacts and antiques.
There are 2 restaurants. The famous restaurant overlooks the world renowned State Opera House. There is also a traditional Viennese coffee shop located on the ground floor, with outdoor seating available in warmer weather. The restaurant Sirk will be closed in the evening from 4 to 31July 04. The Cafe Imperial will be open over this period.
The hotel is an historical and impressive, traditional building. The lobby is small with ample seating. It has antique decor. This is a beautiful and impressive building offering excellent service for those wishing to experience something extra special during their stay in Vienna. |
